Job Description

Assist the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Company’s Auditor to ensure proper scrutiny of accounts from the details in the business’s accounts and its financial records Assist the CFO and Company’s Auditor to ensure compliance with applicable necessary financial regulatory and compliance requirements Assist the CFO and Company’s Auditor in contributing financial expertise in the planning of new services that generate additional sources of profitable revenue Manage costs by continually seeking data that will identify opportunities and take action to eliminate non-value costs in conjunction with the Chief Financial Officer Loading the sales and returns files into Sage ensuring they balance back to online platform Stock adjustments and transfers relating to the warehouse and stores Maintain supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating requirements; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; stocking items; delivering supplies to work stations. Assist with the overall financial operations Posting supplier invoices and credit notes into Sage Reconcile Sage supplier accounts to supplier statements Cash reconciliation from the different payment sources Assisting in the bank reconciliation Work with Management to develop and implement policies and procedures, short- and long-range goals, objectives and plans. Analyse areas in planning, promoting and conducting organization-wide performance improvement activities Participating in weekly/monthly operation reviews as well as participating in corporate office meetings as deemed necessary 50% of the time will be spent on data entry tasks with the other 50% managing the purchase ledger and adhoc requirements Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.


Must reside on the Island or its environs.
